Ayer, la Administraci\u00f3n Biden public\u00f3 el Estrategia Nacional de Corredor de Carga Cero Emisiones<\/u><\/a>, desarrollado por la Oficina Conjunta de Energ\u00eda y Transporte, en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Departamento de Energ\u00eda de EE. “GreenLatinos applauds the Biden Administration’s innovative vision in the development of this strategy, which promises to accelerate the transition to zero-emission freight vehicles by designating hubs of high-priority investment for EV charging. This is a significant step forward in delivering clean transportation investments promised and delineated in the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. We are truly optimistic about the potential of this strategy to significantly accelerate the widespread use of zero-emissions trucks.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pero si bien extendemos nuestros elogios, esta estrategia se queda corta en algunos aspectos clave: la palabra \u201ccomunidades\u201d aparece 19 veces en el <\/em>plan completo<\/em><\/u><\/a>, pero lo que falta es un compromiso claramente delineado para crear centros y corredores en las comunidades negras, morenas y de bajos ingresos m\u00e1s afectadas por los impactos de la contaminaci\u00f3n de los camiones, y cualquier indicaci\u00f3n de c\u00f3mo se podr\u00eda consultar a estas mismas comunidades en la creaci\u00f3n de estos centros.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
